Default switch power help

I am trying to design my switches for the aux lighting (windshield and bumber), winch control, air compressor, and rock lights. I will be using the Carling Tech switches (V1D1GTTB-00000-000 & V8DAA60B-00000-000).

1. I want to tap into the dash light dimmer to power the LEDs in these 4 switches using the orange wire with grey strip from the A/C panel. Will this be too much for the system and cause it to through errors?

2. I will be tapping into the aux power port (cigarette lighter) to power the switches to trip the solenoids. Again will this be too much for the system?

I have done this on other vehicles with no issue, but we all know the JK can be a bit more temperamental with it computer controlled gadgets. I appreciate any input.

Default Not Much Input

Since I have received several views, but no comments I can only think that either I am way off the path or have it correct.

So I have uploaded a wire diagram that I created to hopefully let you understand what I am talking about. Let me know what I have done wrong or if this is going to over power the system.

The switches you have; Do they have a seprate power source for the switch light(led) and load power? If not how are you going to dim, the led and not affect, the power to the load?

That is the switch that I am using for the lights and compressor, the winch is (mom)on/off/on(mom). Not an issue with wiring the switch but will this load negatively affect the computer utilizing the dash light power on the stock dimmer?

yes, the led is on a separate circuit in the switch.

Again, how are you going to dim, the led and control the accessories.

The upper led (8) is independent of the control, thus dim-able. The (on) light will receive the full current thus not dim-able. I may switch to a 1 led switch that is independent of the source power, still making it dim-able.

ECHO thanks, I need the sanity check.

So the lower light will not dim, only the upper light will dim. The lower light will turn on when you turn on the accessory?

Correct. The lower light is only visible through a small slit in most of the covers so this should not be a problem.
