Basically what I want to do, is tap my cb power line into the power line to my kc light switch power. I'm guessing it doesn't take that much power to make that switch work.. Since the power wire to the cb is the same size I figured the draw wasn't that much. Also can I run another light switch off that power for two bumper mount lights? How much power can I draw off it? Thanks
Ok just so I understand, you want to tap into a power supply that already powers something else? It may be an issue when running both lights and the cb at the same time. Why not just run another power line. It's a simple task.
Yea, I'm a little confused at what you want to do as well. It sounded like you want to get power to your CB from the power switch to your lights...right??
-Are you wanting the light switch to control both you lights and the CB?
-Are you wanting to tap the power wire for the lights BEFORE the switch?
-If you are also wanting to run four lights off one circuit you will need to figure up your wattage then get your amps, then figure out if the circuit will run it..It's easier just to add another relay for the second set of lights..

Yep wanted to see if I could power it off an existing power source that powers the switch to my kc windshield lights. Not control cb / lights at the same time. I'm terrible at electrical stuff, I'll just run separate wires.
thanks!
thanks!
