BTW I did order the IPF H4's from Northridge- they were out of stock, but are getting more tomorrow and promised to ship mine out.

SO I'll install/review next week sometime- I do have high expectations though.

If you do some more searching the IPF lights did not rate all that well.

I'm sure they are not as good as others like the Trucklites.....but they are only $150 shipped. The Trucklites are ~$500.

You can't always go by what people say is the "best". What looks good to my eye might not to yours. Just because a reviewer says a product is the best, everyone jumps on the bandwagon. I have the IPF headlights and am very happy with them. When the stock bulbs burn out I will probably try a different bulb and maybe a different harness. I think you will be happy with your purchase

X2 there is a headlight shoot out on another forum if you google Headlight Shootout and Hilldweller he is the poster there is lot of great info....
It is overly obvious what lights offer over others and by far the Cibies are the best halogen on the market but bulbs don't last as long as LED's.

Edit: in the shoot out you will see what the IPF's offer compared to the others on the same field of view with the same camera by the same person and it offers a great way to compare for yourself.

This is a great kit and I'm sure you'll be happy with the purchase. I've had this kit for two years now and I love it... no regrets at all. It's an easy install and a HUGE improvement over stock. I don't use the bulbs that came with the IPF kit because I personally found them to produce a light that is too white in color. My eyes didn't like it so I installed sylvania Xtravision bulbs... they're bright, cheap, effective, and available pretty much everywhere.

I've yet to see or read about anything else being recommended as the best possible light out there (for a halogen). Maybe there is, and maybe there isn't. But for the ~$150, they're hard to beat.

In addition to that, you'll also see how much light is being wasted with the IPFs (right at the light - post 39 in that thread).

The IPFs are also not DOT approved. Not that this would bother me one way or the other, but when there's legal lights, that are superior, and cost the same (or less), it makes it an easy decision.
You also have to factor in what bulbs are used in a test and whether or not the factory harness is used. In a fair test, all the lights would be tested with identical bulbs and harnesses. I never said the IPF's were the best, and honestly the bulbs they come with aren't stellar either and I will probably try the Phillips extreme bulbs next, along with the Susquehanna harness. Should be a great combo
