Default TVandNav2go lockpick

Has anyone tried the "TVandNav2go" MyGig Lockpick from ebay? Is it the same thing that coastal tech is selling? I have always been a little skeered to mess with ebay but it looks like a good deal if it is the real thing.

Thanks,

Does anyone know if an xbox360 can be hooked up using the AV cables on these types of setups?

I have the Lockpick V2. The media harness allows for input of RCA (Y,R,W). I really like my LP and have had 0 issues! You can buy for 200 on ebay as opposed to 350 from the coastal site.

I picked up the TvAndNav2Go version of the Lockpick v2 from a vendor on Amazon on the cheap. When it arrived it looks like the only change to it is a different sticker. I plugged it into my 09 RER unit and it works like a charm.

I actually was about to pose the same question as well since your always skeptical over E-Bay items. Thanks for the feed and looks like I may make the plunge this week and finally buy one.

One thing I reviewed the install and have taken the dash before with regard to the UConnect microphone, but what does one do with the lock pick unit once installed? Does it fit neatly behind the radio? Any install pics you can guide me to would be much appreciated.
Thank you once more

I have the same question regarding installation location. I've only seen one installed and it was on the firewall in a kludgy location.

Is there actually enough room behind the Radio/Nav unit?

Also, judging from the appearance of the box and the cables, they appear to be identical units. Maybe it they are produced by two companies/guys in a partnership that went sour. Judging by the exterior packaging I can't believe they have licensed the technology from someone else and independently bought the same Radio Shack case or Heath Kit. If they both work, no complaints from me.

When installing the LP, you need to place the box in the rear right corner or run it over the glovebox.
