Default UConnect/Bluetooth/Handsfree issues

I have a 2012 Uconnect system with single cd player. My handsfree phone quality echos at highway speeds. I have connected with 3 different bluetooth phones and the connections are all the same once I am moving at highway speeds. I have taken it into the dealer and they said that it works well when I'm not moving so it is working as well as it is going to. Anyone have any suggestions to improve the sound quality? Is this a microphone issue?

If this is as good as it gets I will just remove it and sell the radio and uconnect. If I do that what can I expect to sell this for?

I have a hard top too so I cannot understand why this is an issue.

FWIW I had a scion that had the same feature the microphone was above my steering column. I got feedback/echo with my voice to other people. I tried turning the speaker volume down and everything. I remedied it by cutting the microphone off and throwing it away. Don't know if this is the same issue.

You cut it out? So you basically threw it out?
