Default Wakeboard speakers

I want to get some wakeboard speakers and put them on the back roll bar facing downward to the front. Has anyone thought of this or done it? Will I get in a ton of trouble with the police just for even having them there?

Nice to see I'm not the only one who thought of this. I've been thinking of getting a marine amp too.

Hard to say about the police, I guess it depends on what your area is like. Here it's not an issue, anywhere worth wheeling is so far away from population there is no cell service.

Would they consider that they are outward facing because they are up there? Wakeboard speakers are extremely loud and they carry super far which is one reason I really want these. I'd like to have those as subs and not worry about putting them under the back seat

Yes a set of the speakers that go on the wakeboard tower of boats and face backward toward the wakeboarder

I was thinking of exploring this idea as well. Be great for tailgating, as well as for some extra sound with the top down on the highway.

Hmm I'm tempted to pull the speakers off my boat and give this a try. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's thought of this.

Well now I guess it's just a race to see who posts a picture of them installed first... And then the first ticket for them. I definitely want to try this idea out. Don't have to worry about weather or anything. I want to put one in each corner in the back. Avoiding blocking the rear view mirror. Only problem is find a set cheap....
