Weird UConnect Issue
I installed a UConnect kit to my Jeep a few weeks back but have yet to flash the headunit due to dealers quoting me $120.
Anyway, the other day when I got into the Jeep and started it up, the UConnect started working and gave voice instructions on how to pair my iPhone. I went through the motions and paired it but the headunit still says it's not equipped. When people call I can accept on my phone and talk via the UConnect, too.
So, it's really weird that the UConnect works but the headunit doesn't realize it's installed. Has anyone experiences this? You think there's anything I can do to help the headunit recognize the module? Thanks!!
