What lights for bumper?
I am running hella 500 driving beams with 55w hid. Insane light without the insane led price. My hellas put out 6000lm each and I get 1200m of useable light projection. Led cannot come close. Have tried rigid lights and they are overpriced eye candy.
Just looked at the price and how the hell are they so cheap compared to the others? I have always heard you get what you pay for

I have seen led in action, its ok for close range, but don't have the balls to get out in front of your jeep when your travelling high speed. HID does. and at a fraction of the cost.
Here is a so called bright LED light bar at 12000lms this light chart shows it lights up to say 300 m or so
Here is a light chart from the same company's HID light at 35w approx 4000lm
As you can see, the distance the HID throws the light down the road at 1/3 the rated lumen rating is 2.5times as far as the LED light.
LED is way overrated and way overpriced for under performing lights.
HID is cheaper, brighter down the road and draws less than led when you think about it...A 280w LED can only get 1/2 of the distance as 2 55w HID.
HID is the winner.
Nah, get a full roof rack and 4 HID on it you will be in money and have better light! Plus extra carrying capacity in your jeep!
I haven't had any issues with my kc slim lights. Honestly really easy install with the harness they provide. All wiring is simple. Lights are bright as heck. It's a good solution. I guess it's about what you like. For me I like the look of the KCs and there's a reason why so many people use then , they work. ( not saying the other brands don't!) if budget is a player weigh your options , and make your choice. Just don't regret anything you do even if it turns out bad, it's all about learning anyways.
Fog lights are great for rainy, heavy mist and snow, and give you good visibility close up. Driving lights are more for dark roads and highways where distance is the factor.
First off, you've got to determine whether you want fogs or driving lights, as this will determine whether you will hook them up to the low beams or high beams. Most of the states where it is illegal to marry your cousin, have restrictions that fog lights must work with low beams only and go off when you switch to high, while driving lights must be wired so as to work only with high beams and go off when switched to low beams.

I have my hid hellas wired to my high beam, and a switch. When driving on the dark hi ways, I can just have my highs come on with one flick of the switch instead of dim my lights then switch my hid system off. My fogs are on my factory fog switch and a switch as well. Same idea.
