+1 for the rigid dualies, literally just installed them tonight, still need to run the switch to the cab. Did a test run hooking them up to the battery and I'm loving them already!

I still like the old school h3lights. Those led lights just look too small to mount up there. And the price! Its a hard pill to swallow

I just installed Kc slim lights on Kc brackets. They are 6" and block a little vision. Not bothersome for me, but I know the mopar brackets shift them over a bit to help with how much they block the view.

Yea but for brightness and clarity they pretty much destroy every halogen I've ever owned or ran. Sorry....I was on the other side of the fence for a long time, but caved and bought a pair and saw the light....literally. Halogen's are crap compared to the light output of LED's. besides I don't want my rig looking like Mickey Mouse...

I guess I'd have to actually see a set. Don't know anyone with any and I sure don't want to be the Guinea pig at that price. I guess call me cheap lol

Baja Designs Soltek 4" lights work great. Although I would like to see the Rigid D2 lights in person for comparison. I will post up a pic in the morning

Default Lightforce 170's on Mopar brackets

I have the original Lightforce 170 Striker's with clear filters on mopar brackets which mount the light down and out. I originally had brackets that were more up and in but the back of the Lightforce housing would get in the way of the wipers.

Here are a couple of pic's of my setup that are from a distance. Yes they do block a little of the view from the windshield but it's not as much as you'd think. You get used to it pretty quick. The thing that will throw you for a loop is flipping the switch on those bad boys the first time. There is a lot of ambient light from the filters and the hood. With the filters off it solves that problem but the light reflection from the hood still exists. I don't want to run with out the filters just because it probably helps protect the lenses. My Jeep is silver so the light reflection may be more noticeable than a darker colored Jeep. I've considered putting a flat black vinyl wrap on the hood just for that purpose. I use my lights a lot (almost every night) though.

Im interested in Hella 500's too because of how slim they are, but wondering where I can get a good deal on the Mopar light brackets cuz them are spendy for what they are. I know the Smittybilt ones are down and away from the windshield much like the mopar ones, but they dont contour to the body that tight like Ive seen the mopar ones do.
Jeeps are much like women... its the accessories that enhance their beauty. No offense to women .. just saying.
