Yes I did notice the gauges. I havnt driven it much since so I don't know if it will happen again

This just happened to me is there anyone else who has had this problem. I went out to get something out of the jeep and the dome light was off. Turned the jeep on and the gauges would not come on. Windshield wipers were on but the switch was off. I am letting it sit for a minute. Any ideas beside disconnecting the battery?

Anybody else have this happen?

Fwiw signs of a possessed Jeep(wind shield wipers going on/off, horn honking out of no where, and some other anomalies) are mostly caused by a battery thats near the end of its life. How old is the battery? Your local auto parts dealer should be able to test it for free, that's where id start.

Agreed time for a battery. Jk does all kinds of crazy things when the battery is shot...

In my case my jeep was only 4 months old?? Must be possessed lol. And so far it has never happened again.

Same thing happened to me just yesturday. I found another thread talking about removing the m13 and j13 fuses for a minute. I pulled them out and they looked fine, so I put them back in and I was back on the road. Very strange issue, I'll have the battery tested just to be sure. 2010 JKU Auto.
