I found this for sale online. Silly low price of $375. Can this possibly be right? They say it is compatible with my 08 JKU. They say it is a 30 g hard drive....help please.

This isn't a NAV unit, that probably explains the low price. However from what I can find with Google (search for 5064675AF) it appears to be a high speed unit so it should work just fine.

I learn something every day...I didn't know they made a MyGig with a touch LCD screen that wasn't a Nav unit?

 

I don't really care about the nav...mainly interested in the uconnect/backup camera/and ipod functionality. Thanks for the response.

 

I would never buy a Non-Nav unit...I use that more than anything on the MyGig!

I don't believe that is a 30GB, but I could be wrong . I know it's not SAT/Sirius ready and that's what I'm looking for . Otherwise, the price looks good.

With the NON NAV units, they do not have built in Uconnect function. For those particular units, you have to buy a separate UConnect module. The Navi MyGig's (RER) have built in Uconnect functionality, so there is no need to buy a separate module. You are still better off looking for a MyGig with the Navigation, since it also includes built in UConnect.

You will end up paying more once you purchase the separate UConnect module, than if you had just paid a little more and gotten the MyGig with Navigation if Uconnect is an important function for you.

 

i sort of came to that conclusion as well...can get a new RHB unit with more functionality and uconnect already part of the unit for $1400.
