Most people who want the outward and downward mounting choose the Mopar or Smittybilt brackets. From my understanding, the Smittys are basically an exact copy of the Mopars for about half the price.

I've got the KC brackets, they seem to be fairly out of the way I guess, and I've got big ol hellas.

x2 Get the Smittybilt to keep the lights placed to the side. I have the Mopar brackets, before Smittybilt had theirs.

About 4 years ago I went with the KC mounts. Very happy with them!
