Default wiring amp / power issues

has anyone had problems running an amp- line out .
power and ground i am showing 12-13Vlts
Also with turn on lead too
but when i hook them all up. power only shows 7volts at my amp
and amp will not turn on ???

what am i doing wrong

Can u reword that I'm having trouble understanding what you are trying to achieve and what u did that you are having problems ?

hi, sorry - I was having a bad day.. I figured out the problem.. thanks

I hookup an amp for a sub ( tapped off the infinity to LOC ) - when no power was on the Voltage at my amp was about 13Volts, as soon as I turned it on the amp shut off and only read about 7Volts..
My ground was not good.. Its Working now - I have a Kicker small sub hooked up - it sounds OK, not sure If I am going to upgrade. I will post pics soon
