It appears that I have broken a major rule of engagement. But, based on some information on another JK website, the Z1 will fit w/some room on the sides that may need to be filled.

I think the short answer is "NO". Having stepped on the board owner's toes myself and experienced the same short shrift of censorship, having seen other examples of censoring behaviour, I believe that now to be true. Nothing like getting your hands spanked a couple of times to say, OH! THAT is what you mean by no foreign reference, eh? (other JK forums. Must be some sort of we don't speak of the foreign forums in this here forum, hear? )

If it'll stick, here's a pic of the Z1 in a JK dash.

I have the portable Roady 2 and mounted it with velcro right behind the 4wd shifter (a big open space). I used velco and mounted the antenna right on the dash against the windsheild and ran the wire along side the radio center console and the eventually behind the console with the excess (kinda hard to describe). The wire tucked in there real nice. Then the 12v power adapter is plugged into the left hand power receptacle and the wire also runs along side the radio center console. I used a "Radio Shack" mini plug and ran that down the opposite side of the console and all works great and the wires are all tucked away. By using the left 12v receptacle the XM recceiver turns on and off with the JK.
