Default '15 Willys Unlimited build

Finally decided to break down and upgrade from the EVO Leveling kit to a 2.5" RK Stock Mod kit. I also ordered the Rancho 9000xl shocks and the Rancho Control arm correction bracket. Along with the lift I also ordered up a new rear bumper as well, went with the ACE Pro Series rear bumper & tire carrier. Now all my leveling kit parts on my Jeep will be transferred to the fiancée's Jeep.

Now, the wait. RK ships directly so hopefully I'll see the kit soon. The Rancho shocks were out of stock, so waiting on Rancho to re-stock. The Bumper is 4-6 wks per ACE. The Rancho control arm bracket was in stock....

Going to have to venture to Home Depot to build some customer bump stops for the rear tire carrier until my bumper arrives. Figure these will go on the fiancée's jeep as well.

Oh, and gotta get the CB installed finally. All the wiring has been ran, just haven't done the mount for the CB itself. It will be mounted overhead. I believe my bracket arrives today so I can get started on something tonight!

Winter projects are so fun

As she sits now:

Running 315/70/17's Tread Wrights.

Also forgot that I have a set of metalcloak bumpstops sitting waiting to go in as well.

Got my CB mounted & light switch panel put in last night. Have to pickup some more wiring & a grounding strap to finish the CB install and to hookup some more lights.

Got the lift and shocks finally. So I went ahead and put it all together over the weekend. Started Friday after a morning of hunting...which was very slow. Wish the snows had come in closer, blue bird day...oh well...better luck next time. Bentley(the dog) had a great time getting some training in.

Back to the house, cleaned out the gear and then got to the lift. We managed to get the front end mostly tore apart Saturday evening before dinner. After dinner we really didnt feel like working anymore so we called it. Sunday we started after breakfast, around 10am, then finished up around 3:30pm.

Installed:
Rancho control arm drop brackets
RK 2.5" springs
Re-used the 3/4" spacer for the rear for some additional lift
Rancho RS9000 shocks for a 4" lift
Metalcloak front & rear bumpstops
RK rear track bar bracket

This week I'll be taking it in for an alignment and to get the track bar relocation bracket welded on. Also ordering up some extended steel braided brake lines. Im also looking into extending my breather tubes and replacing the diff covers.

ACE rear bumper should be here the 30th as well,

Great bumper for cheap. Although, Ill be replacing it soon I think. I want something different. Not the biggest fan of the LED's. Going a different route.

I realize it has been a long time sense I posted updates. So, here is a big one spanning the past year.

Numerous camping trips...

Went doorless and picked up some mirrors

Fishing trip to Montana

Snow wheeling this winter

And I got the ACE rear bumper and tire carrier on as well
