EMC 4600 Class 2014 JK Build

Back in November of last year, my good friend and I decided we wanted to go racing. We both drive built JKU's so it made sense to go with a JK. I made a few phone calls to see if I could get some of my sponsors on board and once we knew we had their support, we started our search. KOH 2017 was the goal and we didn't have much time to make it.
I checked the local dealerships and classified ads to see if we could find something to start with and after 3 weeks of searching, we found a 2014 Anvil JK with 14k miles. It had some minor body damage and a bent front axle from being driven into a ditch, all that didn't matter to us so we made the deal and had it delivered to my house. A bunch of parts were ordered and we started stripping the JK as soon as it arrived. With Christmas around the corner, getting the parts and materials we needed to complete the build and get to KOH was going to be tough. We had less than 6 weeks to complete the build and do some testing. First order of business was to get the cage built. Interior was gutted, doors and tailgate removed and everything else we did not need. Because of the anticipated gross weight of the finished jeep, we had to go with 2" tube for the cage per Ultra4 rules. My friend who was going to build the cage for us did not have 2" dies and we could not find any that would work with his bender so we ordered our own bender with 2" dies. Once the bender and tube arrived, I drew up a quick sketch of what I envisioned, took some measurements and started bending. As expected, not everything worked out exactly as I had hoped and along the way, a few changes were made. Since we didn't finish the build in time to make KOH 2017, I now have time to share the build here. I would like to thank all of our sponsors for helping us along the way and we look forward to debuting the Race Brawler at the 2017 Stampede in June. Bunch of parts showed up including all of the armor, suspension, wheels, tires, fuel system, seats and more. Amazing how much space these parts took up in my garage....lol

Playing with colors....I think we decided to go with a white wrap up front and powder coated all the armor in pearl steel grey. Still left to do is finish plumbing the fuel system, install the axles, rear suspension, radio systems, lights, graphics winch and probably much more.
