Default GR8WHITE 2.0 (But Actually Silver) (40’s, 8 lugs, stretched)

Well… Here we go. My 2014 JKUR named GR8WHITE is gone. Its was sad seeing it go but I decided it was time to start over and build something with more axle, cheaper (less f***s given), shorter wb, and lower cog. I bought the 14 brand new and I learned a lot about what exactly I want and what works. But now, onto the new build. I wanted to start with the cheapest 2dr I could find. So, I found this 2010 2dr jk sport 6spd with HALF DOORS and a/c for 15,500 so I bought it. The end goal is to have a rig i can go 75 down the highway and then beat the s*** out of it and drive it home. I am trying to keep the build as cheap as possible and don’t plan on spending anymore than 35k all in. (including the price of the jeep) I will start collecting parts slowly for about a month until I have everything, then i'm gonna tear down the jeep. Hoping to only have the jeep out of commission for no longer than a month. The whole idea of this build is all go and no show.

I already got tired of looking at that stock front bumper so I started building one. I found a nice used warn for $325. (Gonna put a synthetic line on it eventually...) Started by cutting off the crash bar and frame horns. I tucked the winch as close to the grille without cutting it. I made bumper out of 3/16. I did make a reinforcement plate under where the winch mounts out of 1/4. Click image for larger version

Painted and put on the bumper last night. I think it turned out pretty good for how quick I made it.
