Default Paint Job

Really appreciate this forum! Got a question - what's a good range to expect for a complete paint job? Let's just say solid color to make it easy & provide me a budget. I'm in the Austin area in case there are local referrals. Thanks!

There are a lot of factors to count in, primarily quality of paint, and if you are wanting to change colors or not. I once got a car painted (not a color change, just freshened it up) for $1000. It wasn't a great job, but I was in high school, and it got the job done. Changing the color is much more expensive as you have to deal with door jams/interior and engine bay, and making them match.

You'd be surprised what a "good" paint job costs these days. We just tore down my buddy's TJ, and he paid 4000.00, but it is flawless!
