Trailer build question

Those of you who have built your own trailers modeled after the m416 trailer, what width did you go with for the frame and what width/supplier of the axle?

I picked up a great frame to start with that's 52" wide and 90" deep. I was thinking of making it 48" wide, putting a 4x6 box on it and run 32" or 33" tires to match my JKU, and use the 18" of space up front for a basket for extra fuel or water cans, generated or battery box, or??? I was also think of using yj springs and shocks. I want to keep the track the same or smaller than my jeep.

I would appreciate any input anyone have.

Elapsed time.

Generally these types of questions take time to collect answers. if you start a build ill be following it for sure. wanted to do the same thing.

I would think you would get a better answer over on Expedition Trailers - Expedition Portal

Lots of trailer builds there.

A trailer frame width of 48" with an axle WMS-WMS of 65" will clear a 35x12.50 tire on a stock JK wheel.
