Thanks for the support!

Here's how it felt to drive through the minefield.

Definitely my most intense day behind the wheel of a vehicle - much more than The Death Road in Bolivia.

This is Epic ! I can't believe i just saw this thread . As a Moroccan born and raised I do envy you for what you're doing , I wish I could take my JKU someday to Morocco and drive through all the mountains and dirt roads. From the video, looks like you picked up on the Moroccan way of sharing the road pretty fast You truly are Living my dream 👍🏽 !! Best of luck and I will be following your Journey .
Cheers Mate!

I have driven into African country #3, Senegal!

And without a Carnet De Passage too, something many people have said is impossible.

Woah, it's starting to get tropical!

Hi All,

I have driven into Gambia, country #4.
After hours of arguing, I ended up paying my first bribe, unfortunately.

Hey Everyone,

Here's how it looked driving across Mauritania, skirting the edge of the Sahara desert.

I was wondering how the conflict over there was affecting your trip. I know most African countries are safe for travel but I'd just be worried about coming across a caravan of rebels. How has the vibe been so far? Do the locals welcome your presents? Mauritania is in the same peace index as Mexico, how has it been?
