Looks just like the one i got from Harbor Freight.

Also if you get the HF one. I paid an additional $10 for a 2yr replacement warranty. i can bring it in in perfect working condition in 2 yrs and get a brand new one. cant go wrong with that

To be honest I don't remember exactly how much I paid for it, I'm thinking it was around $100 though

My 315 Duratracs ride great betweeb 30 - 35psi.
30 psi runs the best for me, but I enjoy that extra 1.5 mpg I get with 35psi.
Load D on 40 psi would be a bit much for my liking.

There are three options.
  1. You can use the MV50 as several have posted. That's what I use. It is cheap and pretty effective for refilling tires after wheeling.
  2. A second alternative would be an air tank like the Garvin Industries (Quadratec Item 12043.914). You will have to refill this prior to every trip, but they are pretty fast. I've heard stories of these exploding, but can't speak to the validity of the story or how the product was being used (or misused).
  3. The most expensive and most versatile option is on-board air. This of course will fill tires quickly, allow for use of items like air lockers and air horns, and limited use of some air tools on the trails.
Good luck.

I have an mv-50. I'm very pleased with it. Bought it via an "Amazonian" online store. I also picked up a Sinister fab bracket, they were on-sale for $25 + shipping ($33 to my door).

I'm about to post my mini write-up on dash switch wiring and the protected location of the quick connect near the front bumper. Total cost: mounted, switched, hosed = $110.

Good luck!

Same here. Compact in a nice carry bag. Works great and airs up fast.
A little pricey but quality and performance are worth it.

I've had a Viair 400P for many years. Use to fill up my 35x16/15 Boggers without too much waiting around. Those tires were so old and broken in that they went flat in about 3 days but they were fun on my 400HP CJ7.

I've got this portable air compressor. It's slow but gets the job done. It's cheap, light and doesn't take up much space.
