Sometimes pictures and videos don't do justice to the angle.....but I bet that was steep.

here is a simple test to find out what the roll over angle would be....
step 1 : install inclinometer on dash
step 2: take jeep off road and roll it over being carefull to notice the reading on the inclinometer just before it rolls.
step 3:remember that particular degree. it is a handy piece of information to have in a time like that.

I built my own:



As soon as I figure out how the hell USB on-the-go works, I'm building another version that uses a much more compact USB LCD display from crystalfontz instead of the VFD and my gargantuan homemade display enclosure.

I've seen three other inclinometers. One is a digital unit with a red LED display and beeper with programmable set point. A second has two round mechanical dials to indicate pitch and tilt. A third looks like an upside down protractor with a plumb bob hanging from it. Sorry, I don't have pictures of those.
