I took the DIY route. It was so much cheaper than the River Raider kit, I couldn't justify it.

Doing the diffs was easy, but I couldn't track down the tranny and transfer case breathers to save my life.

I didn't post a write-up on the forum when I did it, but here's what I posted to my blog, with photos:

Cheap fuel filters make good caps for the end of extended breathers.

'12 and newer, the Transfer Case tube should be located on the firewall right behind the engine. The Automatic Transmission tube should be under the plastic engine cover.

I routed my rear breather into the taillight compartment as well.... Does anyone know if I can leave it facing downward or if it needs to be vertical? Stock location is basically horizontal.

It doesn't matter if its vertical or not. If you get water that high you have other things to worry about

I would recommend securing it with some grey rtv or something

I reused the plastic ring from the original location behind fender liner and a trim clip to hold it to a preexisting hole in there.

Thank you for posting this. Been wanting to reroute my breather tubes since I put my lift kit on.
