I need to still work out the details but this is how I am thinking about mounting my new Hi-Lift on my PureJeep rear bumper.
Take a look and let me know what you think.

Damn, your Jeep is lookin great!
I dont see why that wouldnt work if you can get the mounting figured out. I would really like to see what you come up with.
I really like that bumper and my finger has hovered over the [buy] button on it a few times, especially a week or two ago when Northridge had a few instock waiting, but the lack of hilift mounting options held me back.
Is there enough room behind the spare, roughly at the center or slightly below, to get the hilift squeezed in there horizontally? I like the idea of keeping it somewhat out of sight, and lower on the Jeep. Some have it horizontal near the bottom, like the Jeeperman and the new Shrockworks one has it on the top of the swingaway. If the PJ one could be adapted to do that without major surgery, we may have a winner.

Clackey, I think that looks good. In fact, I was thinking of mounting my hi-lift in the exact same way on my Mopar tire carrier.
Mine is wide enough to bolt on 1 side of the hi-lift base and the thought makes me a bit nervous that it may not be enough support. Looking at your pics again though it looks like you're centering it and holding it with U bolts. That's a good idea. As long as it's sturdy and you're comfortable I say go for it.
Nice Jeep, btw!

The PureJeep rear tire carrier bumper is all pretty tight. The tire is mounted close to the body and the tire sits very low. There is very little room to mount the jack below or behind the tire. I plan to weld a stud on the bumper for the front hole on my jack and use the u bolt for the back two holes. I also need to attach a verticle brace that will bolt to the upright on the jack. After all is said and done the base will be scurely bolted flat to the bumper and the upright will be tilted forward as much as possile. I'll eventually post pics in detail as to what and how I do it.
