Default How to pick a good line

I would like to ask that our experienced wheelers show some pictures of good lines and bad lines taken. We all want to have fun but we dont want to damage our rigs. Repair money is now spent on gas

Anyway us rookies can learn from others so please add to our knowledge.

You let someone go first, that way you can see if the line is good or bad

Sometimes a good line is the edge of your tire! A bad line is the Jeep sheet metal on the rock.

This was up on poison spider mesa in Moab.

The one that goes up with the fewest complications in the middle. The best advice is to practice the "easy" looking lines first, then start taking more difficult routes up the same obstacles as you get better.

Understanding the dynamics between careful tire placement, clearance, and traction you can surmount a great deal of varied terrain.

Here is a little game that you could play. Look at the begining of the video before you click on it and pick the line you would take then click the video and see the line that was taken.
