I've tried just about everything out there and the only one that works is the PullPal. I've even seen clones of PullPals fall apart. They obviously did a ton of research and their manufacturing process is above all the others.

In a pinch that is certainly useful to know. However, not having a land anchor for certain activities (overlanding comes to mind) is rather like not having a winch and depending on your Hi-Lift to get you along the trail. It works, but it's a lot of work. In the example I posted above (the image is now fixed, BTW), I had to set the land anchor three times at three different locations. I was by myself. The hour it took me would have probably been the better part of a day.

Totaly agree with you, just posted the picture because I wouldn't have imagine doing it before seeing it. a good anchor save you time and efforts for sur and it can serve any body in the crew also.
