Man, I feel like you are falling into the "I just got a jeep, now I have to make it look like it will survive Armageddon" trap... Don't do it... Get yourself some good tires and wheel it, you will be surprised at how capable it is. Invest in some recovery gear, join a club and wheel that thing.

Honestly it's a cost thing bigger tires and lift. That isn't the last of the costs though.
We moved to 2.5" of lift and 35s 4000 miles ago. We wheeled it a hand full of times. At 10500 miles total we needed to put ball joints into the thing.

If it is going to be a daily driver, there is no need for 4 inch lifts and 35's. My last Jk had 3.5 lift and 35's and was a rough riding bad gas getting monster that looked cool. This time I went with a 2.5 lift, 33 inch all terrains and couldn't be happier. It is nice to drive and is more capable offroad than my last jk (now with lockers, d44s and 4.10s) and is not a beating to drive down the crappy highways here in North Texas. See my albums to see all 3 JK's I have built.

Not sure if you started shopping yet, but I just bought a RC 3.25 lift w/dual steering stabilizer for $530...Radar Renegade R7 MT 35x12.5x20 for $911 on Amazon. For an everyday commuter, that's as wild as I'm going to get....I also picked up a front and rear bumper with side rock gaurds pkg on Ebay for $1120....Happy mod'n!!!
