No hex bolts on door hinges
Good afternoon. I went to take my doors of my 2013 JKU Sahara for the first time and realized I do not have the hex bolts on the bottom of any of my doors. Are mine just missing them or what?

Guessing you are not the original owner. I'd figure a previous owner liked to remove the doors a decent bit, and didn't bother to hassle with those nuts every time. I removed those same nuts 6 years ago and never put them back on. Makes it much quicker to remove/remount the doors.
Mopar part #6511744AA should you care to buy some. https://www.quadratec.com/products/5...waAtC6EALw_wcB |
I also never put them on. No problems.

If you were interested, I'd sell a set of 8 for $25 shipped. $50+ for em seems redonk. I really don't care either way....and someone on here might sell some cheaper. Won't hurt my feelings if they do. If you care, PM me.
Personally, I'd just live like they didn't exist if I were you. :yup: |
Actually I'd like to ditch the threads entirely. Does anyone make a hinge pin that's just a tapered pin with no threads to rust? Maybe I'll just cut the threaded ends off my hinges..

3d printer idea?? You'd just have to tap the hole on the inside but that would be cake. You could even fill the inside with a lightweight epoxy and then tap the epoxy so you don't risk cracking the plastic.
