Wat parts do most of yall bring wen u go out on the trails? im just curios. i bring extra brake lines (ud have to look at my brake setup to get y) and lots of bolts and a spare tire.

spare tire, black & decker air compressor.; although itīs not a part, itīs very usefull ..

sockets, duct tape, elect.tape, zip ties, wire, tow strap, bungee cords, flashlight, knife, flares, first aid, fire extinguisher, food, water, matches, blanket, jack, glow sticks, hand tools channel locks, screw drivers, wire cutters, allen keys, torx sockets, air compressor, WD-40, cell phone, Gps, visa card never leave home without it

wow lol. i just said parts. yea i take my tools to. i keep all my stuff in ammo cans. fits good behind the back seat.

Seems like no matter what you bring with you, you'll need something you don't have.

But always bring First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguisher, Good Spare Tire, Jack (that will lift your Jeep enough to change tire), and Assorted hand tools.

I think he's talking about things like spare axleshafts and U-joints...

Just don't get too crazy with the gas pedal and you won't need to waste your time doing trail repairs (and consequently blocking obstacles and pissing off all the rigs behind you at the same time).

I consider myself prepared when I bring a cell phone and a recovery strap. At any one time I am eight clicks away from rescue.

yea. were i go there isnt much cell service(hardly any). an yea i was talking bout like axle shafts and stuff

D44 shafts break just as well as the D44 caps going flying as well too!!!!

That axle was cracked for a while before it broke.

You can see the crack initiation site, i wonder what the stress riser was that started the crack. That type of failure should not happen on a dana 44 unless there was a defect.

If it were a pure torsion break I would understand that , but I would expect the u-joint to break first.

Anyone else who has seen more failures please comment.
