Recovery Strap vs Snatch Strap

My thinking is you use what best suits the situation. Snatch straps are great when needed for a mud recovery etc but if just a steady pull is all that is required and not a snatch then I prefer a no stretch strap. Thus if the worst should happen and something breaks under load there is less chance of creating a missile due to no energy stored in the strap. Kind of like steel cable versus synthetic winch line.

Recovery Strap vs Snatch Strap.... I thought they were the same and a Tow strap was the one without any give? I was told my ARB recovery strap would stretch a bit adding more and more tension.

Screw all this crap... I get straps and chains off a town company that tows 18 wheelers.... If these straps and chains will hold a fully loaded 18 wheelers then I know my lil jeep will be just fine! Lol
