Thank you mike, you know your jeep stuff so your input is always appreciated.
and just for the record none of that was sarcastic at all, I really do appreciate all input and suggestions since im new to the jeep world, new to off roading and new to a 6 speed.

turn off computer
riding in hard pack sand (like in photo) you can do in a miata (yes, i've actually seen one in obx).
if you have to ride near dunes, due to high tide, you should shift into low and turn OFF your computer. the computer will prevent vehicle from moving and your jeep will sit and hum (wheels will not turn) when you hit deep sand. even when in OFF and in low the computer is still ON, but at least the tires will turn. (There is a way to competely turn off the computer on one of WOL's FAQs.)
i've never aired down my jk at the beach and gone through some pretty deep and soft sand churned up after storms. worst case, if you need too, you can air down if you can't move.

I meant to ask you about that actually matt, what CB radio do you have and how was instillation? I'm thinking about getting one but wanna know more about it before i start messing with the wiring and stuff.
