Default 1st mod on the new Jeep

Hey guys. Finally got my first JK on tuesday and I want my first mod to be roof racks on my hardtop so I can mount some ski racks for the winter. Having a tough time figuring out which direction to go. I would love to mount some side rails and have adjustable cross bars. I really like the looks of the MOPAR jeep commander crossbars. Any ideas on how it could be fabricated on a hard top. If not any other suggestions?Click image for larger version

Only suggestions I can make is look at the MBRP roof rack which bolts onto the hardtop....(Personally my favorite...just waiting for funds to do this mod down the road).

However, for the time being I am using Thule rack with gutter mounts and mounted to my Hardtop. It works great for our skybox!

Also, another option is to get a full rack (Gobi rack..etc.)

MBRP looks like it cannot hold a lot of weight?

I think I've asked this before, but with the gutter mounts does it mar up your top at all?

It hasn't on mine and I have had this system for 3 years now. However, I did add some 3M Clear bra tape on the gutter mounts specifically where the mounts sit inside the gutter. If it does scratch up a little I would just use a Black Sharpie.
