Finally tossed a few strings of lights on the Jeep. Doesnt look to bad when its dark out. Would toss more on the rear bumper if I could open the tailgate to slide the cord through, damn thing is frozen shut! Looking forward at seeing some others.

Where have you guys found outdoor battery powered?

Checked a few local places, including target and found nothing. Found outdoor plug in, and indoor battery.

Genius shackles. My Battery operated lights are for indoor use, I just wrapped the battery packs up in plastic and the light string is well enough insulated. The strings were only $3 a piece at fred meyer so I won't be terribley upset if they fail.

I have my wreath laced up with outdoor plug-in lights - $2 at Meijer.

Hooked them up to an inverter on the left adapter on the console (which is connected to the ignition, so they go on and off with the Jeep, no need to plug and unplug), and ran an extension cord under the carpet to the back.

I chose red lights for the back (My pics are on Page 2 of this thread) so they match the taillights and don't give cops a temptation to pull me over (flashing lights are illegal here, and multicolored is sort of a grey area).
