Awesome! I didn't see any mention of wheel spacers in your detail. What did you use? I was really hoping to go as far as I could on tires from my stock 17" on my 2011 Rubi, but it seems all the good looking stuff requires them :-(

Not trying to hack the thread - but with everyone that did this (I am going to do the same) did any of you change your Steering Dampener? And what size tire (obviously 35") is needed width wise for a stock wheel?

With 35x12.5" tires the manufacturer recommends 8-9 inches of rim width. The stock Moab rim is 7.5". You will need 1.5" spacers on your wheels for the tire not to rub on the sway bar links and on other things because the stock rim has 6.5" of backspacing. Spidertrax makes a great spacer, but they are $200 for a set of 4. You can buy rims for $500 so you really need to like the stock rims OR (like me) just not be able to find any aftermarket rims you like more than stock. If you do an aftermarket rim, make sure it has 5x5 bolt pattern (if you have a JK) and 4 1/2 inches or less of backspacing. It would appear that most of the guys on here say to do a rim that is 8.5" to 9" wide for 35's.

I know these things because I read everything on this forum voraciously. You will too!

Looks really nice Goeagles88!
These are the same tires I think that I am going with. I live in central Indiana and get a good amount of snow and ice and have read that they do well in these conditions. This is also my daily driver and drive about 80 miles a day to and from work. I am hoping they will be a good road tire as well and give good life. My JK is an 2011 Rubicon Unlimited with the BF Goodrich Mud Terrain's, I have been pleased with these for the most part and they are wearing well (11,000 miles with no measurable signs of wear) but are not offered in any other size.

So I know you just got them but if you get a chance I would to get some feed back from you on them whenever you can.

Thanks in advance, daubie3
