Any reports of issues when airing down, or otherwise, when ignoring the manufacturers recommendations? I'm considering a set that "requires" a rim width of 8.0 to 11.00.

Here's a post from the Modified Forum Q&A section

Q: How do you determine what size tire will fit what size rim correctly?
A: Typically, most off road tires come in a 12.50" width and for the most part, a 10" wide rim is what you would want. However, unless you are running beadlocks, I would recommend that you select a wheel that is 8" in width or there abouts. When aired down for the trail, the narrower width will help prevent your tires from loosing a bead.

Looking good! What did you use to mount the spare? Looks like you can still see the center brake light over the tire.

Cheers,

Please don't take this the wrong way but are those the stock flares that have faded that much?

Cheers,

You can mount a 35 on the stock carrier and still be able to see the 3rd brake light

You can still see the brake light but I wouldn't recommend it...it's really hard on your tailgate especially if you wheel alot. And with 35's I hope you do! Lol. But my dad had 33's on his stock mount and after a few years the tailgate is sagging and doesnt shut right. So I strongly suggest a new bumper/tire carrier!!!!

I bought a body armor back bumper/ carrier for my 2008 and love it, it was reasonably cheap, looks great, easy to instal, and has withstood some brutal beatings!
