4BT cummings in a JK
Thinking of putting a 4BT Cummings in my JK Unlimited. Waiting for a company to give me a call back on prices for an engine with a trans mated up to the 4BT Cummings.
Does anyone know if the stock Rubicon axles will hold up to the 4BT Cummings.

This has been covered pretty in depth in other threads. The 4BT went out of production several years ago, making it a non option for the JK. I believe the last production year was 1999. That would not be a legal swap.

I am a Diesel Freak and i think it would be GREAT to see a Cummins in a JK. I think it could be done with MONEY and TIME. I would have one if somebody gets the hard work lined out.

I don't see the point of putting a 4bt into a JK. First off, it's a mechanical injected engine. There would be no way of mating it to the electronics in the JK. Now you could strip your Jk of everything that is electronic and install one. But what would be the point unless you just wanted one as a trail rig. This would be like taking your late model truck, stripping out the fuel injection and installing a carburetor. I would suggest to find an older Jeep and do the conversion. Or install a diesel from either a Grand Cherokee or a Liberty. Or as the grapevine keeps saying, wait until Chrysler releases a small diesel like a Cummins V6 and install it in your JK.
