Default ARB locker and compressor

Here are some photos of my recently installed ARB locker and compressor
They mounted the compressor under the drivers seat.

They installed the ARB air-up kit. Quick dsic. is ubnder the seat(nice and clean)

The switches were mounted in a Daystar dash panel

This is a job I left to the pros. It works great and is kept out of the elements. I only locked the rear. I would rather buy a D44 than put $800. into locking the D30

Hey Scott! That is bad a$$! I agree with not dumping money into the front axle. We will be replacing the D30 sooner or later in our rigs........Let me know where you had that installed!

Nice, I am about to do the same setup.. just wondering how's the noise level from that compressor consider it mounted under the seat... Is it the compact compressor? I believe there're 2 models.

Nice!

How loud is that compressor under there? Does it vibrate your ass when it runs?

It is not bad a all. It cycles on and off in short bursts. A little startling when you are concentrating on a tight climb. I turn it on and off as I need it so the run time is very short. The air up function works great. We were in Moab last week and gave the Locker a good workout. I had it done at Six States dist.

so to engage the locker, the compressor has to be turned on first, right? then what? turn it off? or you have to keep it running to keep locker working?

You do need to keep the compressor on to keep the locker engaged. It only akes a second to charge the locker.
