Default Armadillo Industries JK Front Billet Mechanical Door Stops Installed

Just installed these. These are made to stop the ruddy doors flapping around whenever you open them and they do a pretty good job. Time will tell how they hold up but they seem good quality.

Sorry for asking a dumb question, but what keeps the door open, magnetic, friction? How would this help to keep the door from swinging back shut? I have a gas strut on the rear tail gate, wondering if there is a somewhat easier idea for the front.

If you look at the bottom bracket in the second picture you'll see a slight swell in the metal where it enters the female part. There are two of these "swells/bumps" which stop the door at two different places. So like on other vehicles the door will stop first half open and then full open. It works well.

Looks like just one bolt to remove to take the doors off?

That's probably the word I was looking for.

Not sure what you mean? You wouldn't have to remove any bolts from these to remove the doors.

Well, as you know... you have to detach the nylon straps to remove the doors and since those take the place of the straps... something (vertical pin) would have to be removed to be able to pull the doors off.

Mod: After reading Quadratechs add for this: "Retaining clip also allow the quick release of billet stops for easy door removal without the use of tools"

Question Will this work with M.O.RE. dead pedal?

Does anyone know if these will fit with the M.O.R.E. dead pedal?

I have this already installed and don't want to remove just to install these.
