Default Aux Fuse Panel and Wiring

Last weekend installed Painless Wiring auxiliary fuse panel and wired up my lights. The fuse panel fits nicely under the glovebox. Switches and wiring on drivers side is sloppy/temporary while I wait for the 2012 switch panel to show up from Quadratec (Daystar, not expected until late December). Big loom bundle above kick panel on driver's side is unused aux wires from the fuse panel. Looms down left and right above hood feed thru the foam filler into cab for switch controls and live feeds. Wire into Jeep's fuse box is plugged into unused M9 (rear seat heater) as it serves as Ignition-on switch to fuse panel.

Where did you actually mount the fuse block at? Picture of the mounting point?

I'm getting ready to put mine in and to looks to be tough to find the real estate under the glove box.

Wire looks pinched. (Details on the fuse tap, please?)

If so, try this:

Yeah. I'm wondering what brand, maybe part number, does it include a fuse, etc.
It looks like it takes up less space than the one in my picture.

Yea that wire was pinched I notched after that pic. 40amp relay is on the fuse panel. That wire is for the ignition-on switch side of the fuse panel.

Painless Wiring:
70207 Cirkit Boss Aux. Fuse Block/7 Circuits w/TXL Wire/Weather Sealed/Rubber Boot

It lays under the glovebox no problem.

I have the same aux fuse panel in my `10. I made a mounting panel that fits under the glovebox, which is accessible through the panel below. The panel is screwed to a custom fit piece of sheet metal and is fastened at three points (2 on the aluminum brace acting as a ground).

I'm not close to it, but will be there Wednesday for pics. Post up if you want to see my set up. Other than having some extra wiring under there, I'm VERY happy with the location and layout.

Hey Jeff,

I would like to see your setup. I've ordered the 70217 fuse panel which has all 7 ignition powered and would like to install it under the glove box. I hope to install it this weekend.

Thanks!
