Door Cart
Using some left over metal, some casters, and adhesive backed foam, I made this door cart. Finally a finished project! Maybe larger casters next time tho. No need to tie them down and doesn't want to tip.

VERY nice! I was thinkin of using PVC piping to build mine, but yours is WAY cleaner then mine even looked in my head! The metal would also be sturdier with the doors hanging then pvc pipe for sure. I like it, a lot.

Mine doesnt hang from that bar, they just sit on the bottom. The top part is to keep them from leaning too far in one direction. I read somewhere that its not that good of an idea to hang from the window seals.

got any dimensions? I want to copy it. it is perfect. exactly what I need. Except I will make the vert pole removable so I can stash it under or behind something when not in use.

nice
I really dig the Jeep make your own shit and use your mind/tools thing. Im thinkin that to make this better,, a way to hang it off the door handles and bottom would be a great move to avoid f'n up the door seals. Weatherstrip and seals are just too expensive to chance. My mind is workin on the update model. Now to break out the Jim Beam and MIG welder.

i was gonna do the same thing but the more i make it complicated the more work i have to do. Luckily it doesnt take up much space and i can just wheel it out. It doubles as a coat hanger stand too, to let jackets and stuff dry in the garage. Ill get you the dimensions in the afternoon tomorrow.

That is exceedingly nice. I meant that, truly. You need to get someone, if not yourself, to manufacture those. Maybe you could work out an arrangement with Brett Woods (jeepswag.com). Seriously, that is the best door storage solution I've seen, commercial or homemade.

I totally agree with THAT guy. (Mark Doiron) Now that I know that the doors rest on the bottom and don't hang from the top I like it even more! I would buy one of these for sure. At the risk of repeating myself.... NICE WORK!
