The ProGrip brakes definitely have a lot more clamping force than the stock brakes, and they definitely hold MUCH better. Now that I have these brakes I can say these should be on the must have list for those new to Jeeps or starting a new build. It gives you the same satisfaction as driving after doing a re-gear. It is more enjoyable to drive, and no doubt much safer as well.

That is exactly how I've been envisioning this since you brought it up. I've owned the jeep 4 years now, and the last 1.5+ years or so it hasn't been my DD necessarily. I recall long ago having one time when I had to stomp the brakes on the pavement and was like "holy S!", but in general it's been a while. I know with 37s and weight the factory's are not really sufficient, but I haven't had one of those eye opening experiences in a long time. To your comment above though....people get so used to driving a dog that it isn't until regearing that you realize what you've been missing, and then wish you'd done it long ago........and that is exactly what I've been thinking about brakes since you started this thread. Like DJ1, my next big upgrade was gonna be some sort of hydro....WTO, PSC, combo....something. <big sigh> Brakes just make so much more sense now given something that is used literally EVERY time you're in the jeep. I've run out of random crap to sell on craigslist.....need to find a new source of inflows for my jeep slush fund!

Here are a few pictures showing the much bigger front and rear rotors with the ProGrip system.
