Finally said F**K it and went to 37's

Sweet man thanks for the info I'm going to look them up and read on them.

Love the 37s. I went with Pitbulls. They are true to size so they required some more pinch seam trimming.

I'm on my second set, soon to be third set. I love them. However, not for everyone. They are loud on the highway like an aggressive tire should be. They are heavy like the Toyo MT and a bit stiff but reducing the pressure give them a decent ride.
We run them on 2 Jeeps and 2 RAM trucks.

Do you run them in the winter? I've been running MTRs for the last 4 years & they do the job. I do a lot of driving through NE Ontario & central Ontario for work. At times a dedicated winter tire would have been a better idea but I can't complain.

That's pretty much what I expected. any idea how many miles you get out of a set?

You bet. My 35x12.50x17 had 70,000klm on a 5 tire set, when I sold them 2 years ago. They are still on the road today on a friends Jeep.
My current set 37x12.50x17 have 55,000klm and still have 15/32 tread depth out of the original 21/32".
Regular rotation and running the proper tire pressure is key to higher mileage.

I run them all year round. Love them in the snow. If it's icey, lower the pressure and they are not bad. They are not an ice tire by any means but I am comfortable with them up here in Northwestern Ontario. I commute 120klm round trip everyday.

Where did you buy them? I was looking into those 2 years ago .... Contacted the owner after finding out discount tire direct no longer carried them..... But nothing ever materialized with the owner (may still have his number) so I ended up with 37" MTR's for summer (always switch back to 35" Duratracs in winter) but selling in fall was looking at the Cooper STT Pro's in 37" but may reconsider the pitbulls again if there's a dealer in Ontario I'm in Kitchener..... Thx
