Yes. I sell cars in Upstate NY and we have plates in the dealership. We can sell and spot deliver in about a half hour.

 

When else would you get it?

 

Some smaller dealers dont have plates. Therefore if your not transferring plates they have to have all paper work signed and then go to the DMV. Very inconvenient.

 

In CA, they show up in the mail.... Maybe a month later?

 

in oklahoma, get a temporary one, then have 1 month to go to Tag Agency and get your real plate.

 

Or, in my case, 6 months... I thought that thing was never gonna show up!

I just bought a JK, picking her up in October once this deployment is done. I intend on removing the doors, and adding seat covers, and I intend on going topless, but I will leave the window there, as 1) I think its required in SC, and 2) It's a safety thing for me. Good to see someone using it the way it was intended. I intend to do minor offroading until I know what I am doing, and primarily use it as my Daily Driver.
