Your Jeep looks good. I have a very similar setup and will also go with the Duratrac, haven't decided if I'll do 275/70/18 or 295/65/18.

I am at about half tread on my stock tires, Wrangler Sr whatever..... I had my first snow with my new Jeep the other day.... didn't love the traction of these tires.... I will chew through the rest of the tread because I drive about 25,000 a year... so I am guessing by next winter I should be looking at new shoes. I love how these look but have some questions as I am a tire newb.... or is it boob.... anyway....

Why do people say they are look at 275/70/18 or 295/65/18, etc.... what is the difference?

I know the 18 is the rim size but why would the other two numbers be of any importance? I always just got what the last tires said on the sidewall....

I am guessing that the other numbers mean height and width of the tire???

I really like the Duratracs.... I bet they are really expensive though... how much did you pay for them, if you don't mind me asking?

The first set of numbers is the width of the tire in mm
The second set is the side wall height in mm

Price for 5 installed was $1430 cdn

Not quite right. 295/65/18, 295 is the section width in mm's measured sidewall to sidewall. 65 is the aspect ratio, 65% of the section width and 18 is the rim size.

So have you felt any power loss with the bigger tires or noticed much difference in your mpg's?

Are spacers required to run these tires on oem 18" rims?
My jeep is also stock ride height.

I just got my 33" Duratracs last week. They are great in the snow and rain. I drive 80 miles every day to work and they are a great ride. No noticeable noise. I think it does impact the power a little but not much. Pretty much from a stop and go situation. I know that the spedo is impacted due to change in size so I’m not sure if this impacts the mpg on the computer but my on board spedo has gone down around 2 mpg now.
