Default Got t-boned

So I got my jeep in May of 2007.. I bought a rubi because i knew it would be awhile before i was able to mod it to what i wanted it to be. But i knew i would be happy driving a rubi till i got the money to start modding it. Well i drove it for over 3 years stock and then i finally got the money together to get it lifted and put it on 35's. Being married and only 27 this was quite an acheivement for me and i was so proud. i stared at my jeep for hours on end everyday..

so now on to the crash part.. i was on my way to work on tuesday morning. i stopped at a stop sign looked left looked right (at a 4 way stop sign) saw a car coming to the left didnt think anything of it started to pull away from the stop sign looked again and saw that he wasnt even attempting to stop. ran right threw the stop sign and into my drivers front wheel. the police officer estimated he was doing 60 in a 45 zone. i walked away with a knarly concussion from hitting my head on the rollbar and a bunch of bruising on my left side. im very thankful that i lifted it because he went right under me.

On the good side if there is one i know the guy's over at the bodyshop so im going to be able to pick the parts i want to put on it. so i will probably be putting on a front bumper, a pro rock 44,some fenders, and some adjustable control arms. all of which i was planning one day anyways.. AND i got the new cherokee as a rental and the new pentastar is a beast! way more power than the 3.8... Thanks for listening to my rant!

Wow.....scary shit!!! Glad you're ok. I'm glad you really weren't "T"-boned, because if he was going as fast as the cop said and you were hit in the door, which is what a real T-bone is, you could have been seriously hurt for sure. Count your lucky stars my friend....

Dude, that sucks. Glad the other driver actually had insurance

Maybe I need my head checked, my wife and I test drove the Penstar GC, and both thought it was a dog. My wife ended up with the hemi, which is much better ( stating the obvious here) than whats in my '10 JKU...but I wasnt impressed with the penstar, as least not as to me running out and wanting a '12 because of the engine. Now I will change my tune when/if the diesel/or Hemi make an appearance in the next few years.
I guess Im the only one so far.

remember worry about the ''shine'' last. Make sure your shop measures that frame closely, anything after the framework will be bad if it is not correct. Looks like a new axle housing also. Best of Luck!!
