Has anyone ever swaped the in-dash stereo for something else? I saw a few YouTube videos where guys have put ipads in their dash but I was wondering if anyone tried out something different.

 

You might check the JK Electrical, Lighting & Sound Systems forum--plenty of folks have done mod's to their sound systems. It would be helpful if you mention exactly what you're wanting to do--if it's just to get better sound, there are ways to do that without replacing the head unit. If it's because you want iPad compatibility, I think folks have also done that. If you want something just wild and different, just browse that forum--there are plenty of creative folks!
