Jdinny- how many miles are you looking to get out of those ST Max's? I'm looking at alternative tire options and they're on the list if they last and the price comes down a little.

They have around 37k now, and appear to be at around 50%.
I run them at 28f/25r nrmally, and rotate them between 5 and 6K.
I was hoping they would go 50,000 when I bought them, it looks like they'll do a little better than that right now.

Have you looked at Mastercraft Courser MXT's? I rotate about the same. I have been happy with the wear. They are a load E and made by Cooper AND less expensive.

I have been running ST Maxx's and my only gripe is they are never going to wear out. seriously my latest set on a 4 door (I ran the same set on my 2 door) just does not show any wear. I am running 285/75-17 and while not a 35" it is pretty close in height to many 315/70-17's. I run about the same psi as jdinny only same front and rear.
