yeah i thought the same, may flop and no cooler... ill have to see what i think.

this was my idea for the winch fairlead, it will mount flush on the bottom the frame rails and go above the top plate just enough... and before someone says that plate will buckle, i will be adding reinforcements down the road my prior picture was just to see how it looks.



Also will need to lengthen this for the front stretch...

didnt get much done today had some stuff around the house to do...



did cut this up and also removed rear driveshaft, evap skid/canister

ordered fuel cell,tubing,rod ends,brackets,link tabs,trusses.

Front bumper is nearly ready to weld up and be done. Once done I can mount the winch back on.








Debating trying to use this bottom part to give the cut grill area a finished look yet, but gonna think about it for a bit yet.





Tomorrow will probably be some dana 60 dis-assembly and cleanup!

Brackets are 90 percent off both axles.





Old rear axles is ready to be removed, gas tank and the rest is already out.





Next big step will be grinding a boat load of old brackets off the frame, as well as getting the trusses installed on the axles.

Looking good! If this is your daily driver it must suck being without your rig this long though. You'll be rewarded in the end hope it all works out solid and quickly for you

yup its my dd. luckily the girlfriend has been giving me rides to work in her ricer car. i cant wait to finish, but need to sell some stuff yet to get the last parts.
