We do have a rack extension for the 2 door. The part number is 131040. this kit includes the windshield hoop, and the two cross memebers to tie the front hoop and rack together. If you would like to add the light bar to the windshield, the part number is 130939. This set up would give you exactly what you see in the attached picture below.

There are also holes predrilled and grommeted to run light wires in the front and rear tubes.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.
I still need to get the basket to go on top.
After that some flat black wheels and an AEV hood, then I think I might have to find a new project to start on.

This pic gives you an idea of our interior bracket design.

Let me know if you need any other shots...

Yep, then you just remove the same 6 bolts to remove the top, and the top and rack come off together. The rack makes it so easy to grab on and lift it away!
Some don't like that you have no rack then while the top is off, but mine is so rarely off that I don't mind.

Sorry for digging up this old thread again

I love the looks of this rack! However I'm not sure about 2 things which I hope someone will be able to help me with:
1. Can the front extension be mounted together with a AEV snorkel?
2. Is the rack without front extension strong enough to carry a roof tent and two people?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Florian
