Default Mirror Relocation with Doors Off

I looked high and low, searched the forums and finally decided on the following. I must say that I am totally impressed with the quality, workmanship, design and overall look. These brackets and mirrors allows you to use the factory location of the mirrors as it was designed.

I ordered the Black Highrock OE Mirrors

Then I ordered the DieTech OffRoad JK Mirror Brackets - The instructions are very detailed.

Bolted the two together.

Once bolted together I mounted them on the Jeep. Just needed to remove the middle 13mm bolt in the upper door hinge and replace once installed. Secure the nut on the bottom of the mirror post.

Fyi. I had the following supervising the whole operation.

Bella

Brody

This looks like an easier and faster to install setup than what I've been using. Might get me a set of those brackets. I've been using an extra set of mirrors and a relocation kit that goes on the A pillar and removing them when I put the doors back on. It's a PITA.

Wow, those look really clean. I didn't realize that somebody out there actually made some relocation brackets that were worth a crap.

tsamptrail - would you kindly provide the part numbers for the mirrors and the brackets you used? This is the very next thing I'm getting but I see a few different Highrock mirror options out there. I'd be interested in knowing where you ordered from as well...if you're willing to share. Thanks!

The mirrors were ordered from morris4x4center.com. Model number 51260 - $119.99

The brackets were ordered from Die-Tech Offroad - $69.99

It was brought to my attention that some people had issues with these mirrors fitting these brackets. As you can see below they slide in until about 1/2" left and then it is snug. I just used the supplied bolts and drew it in tight alternating back and forth a little at a time. I actually thought they were designed this way to help keep the mirrors snug.
